Clare have maintained their unbeaten start to the National Hurling League.

Brian Lohan’s side earned a share of the spoils in a dour encounter with Wexford on a full time score of Wexford 1-13 Clare 0-16.

The Wexford goal came from a Seamus Casey penalty just before half time to see the home lead by the minimum at the break.
