Seven Clare girls will represent Ireland this weekend in a European under 16 Zonal Volleyball Qualifier in the Faroe Islands this weekend.
The team are captained by Ruan’s Maria Jones and among the coaches is Teresa Ni Riordain who recently helped Colaiste Muire to All-Ireland Senior A Schools Volleyball glory.
Ireland will compete against Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Sweden and the hosts in Torshavn with the winners advancing to the Final Round in July.
