September Start For Ennis Kilrush In Women’s All Ireland Rugby League

Ennis-Kilrush women’s rugby side will have an away fixture to begin life in the All Ireland League.

Gareth O’Hanlon’s side travel to Carlow to face Tullow RFC on September 27th, in the first of 18 games of the season.

That will be followed by their first home game of the campaign which will come on October 4th against Ballincollig RFC.

Elsewhere, two Clare women have been chosen on the Ireland U20 matchday squad for tomorrows Summer Series tie with Wales.

Doora Barefield’s Lyndsay Clarke starts on the wing, while Kilrush’s Saoirse Crowe is among the replacements.
