The Bridge beat the Townies by five points in their first round encounter last month.

Since then, the reigning champions have seen off Whitegate and Broadford, with the Ennis side victorious over both Cratloe and Feakle.

Speaking on Clare FM’s Talking Balls podcast, analyst Leo Doyle says Sixmilebridge cannot take Eire Og lightly at the weekend.

Clare GAA PRO Michael O Connor, though, says the reigning champions will go into the game as firm favourites.

The other Senior Hurling Championship Semi Final on Sunday sees Ballyea take on O Callaghans Mills.

Clare FM’s live coverage of this weekend’s County Senior Hurling semi finals comes in association with Blossom’s On The Go Garden Centre, Ennis.
