Selection headache for Clare hurling side

 

 

Clare senior hurling management team say the county’s successful Waterford Crystal Cup campaign has given them a selection headache ahead of the national league.

The Banner have reached the final of the pre-season competition, and are to take on Tipperary on Sunday, March 4th.

However, they’ve done so without Clare’s contingent of third level hurlers, meaning tough decisions will have to be made ahead of Saturday’s League opener with Limerick.

However, selector Mike Deegan says it’s a good thing players have taken their chance in the new county set-up
