County board chairman Michael O Neill told the meeting that the negativity surrounding Clare football had to be put to an end and that any new management team would be given a three year term to develop their own style.
The minutes of last night’s meeting will be emailed to clubs on Friday and then discussed at Monday’s county board meeting where the search for a successor to Micheál McDermott will begin.
