Scariff RFC Look To Share 4G Pitch Facility When Completed

Work is continuing on Clare’s first state-of-the-art 4G indoor pitch at Scariff Rugby Club.

The project, which has been in the pipeline for a number of years, has been curtailed due to the pandemic – and will see a 40 by 20 surface installed at Fossabeg.

Scariff managed to field two senior sides for the first time in over a decade during the brief respite in restrictions back in September.

Club chairman Mike Madden says when completed, the project will be available to all clubs that wish to avail of it in East Clare.
