Alphie Rodgers charges will contest the Munster Senior Camogie Final for the second campaign in a row after the East Clare Ladies defeated Sarsfields of Cork in the Munster Senior Camogie Semi-Final today at Dr.Stuart Park, Ogonnelloe.

The reigning county and provincial champions were pressed all the way in Ogonnelloe as a haul of three first half points from Aoife Power and the unerring accuracy of Maireád Scanlon from placed balls helped the Clare representatives on their way to an 0-08 to 0-06 advantage at the break.

Not long after the restart however the Cork finalists had levelled matters with Maeve McCarthy notching 1-01 in the space of five minutes.
