Sammon and Cunningham hoping to impress in tonight’s friendly

Striker Connor Sammon and full back Greg Cunningham will attempt to force their way into the squad for next months World cup qualifiers when they line out for Ireland in tonight’s friendly with Poland.

The manager has indicated that he is looking for a strike partner for Robbie Keane and believes Derby  forward Sammon could be the man for the job while Cunninghams impressive form at Bristol City has earned him a shot at the full back slot.
