The captain of the Newmarket on Fergus hurlers says they’re delighted to have edged a massive battle with their neighbours to take the 2017 Clare Cup title.
The Blues overcame Sixmilebridge by 2-9 to 0-13 to capture the final silverware of the Clare GAA season, taking the title for the fourth time this decade.
