One of Eire Óg’s most experienced players says there was always a belief they had the talent to get their Munster journey off to a winning start.
The Clare champions are preparing for a provincial club semi final against Loughmore Castleiney, with that game fixed for Sunday November 24th in Cusack Park.
They had to survive a stern test from Limerick champions Adare to book their spot, with second half goals through Ikem Igweru and Ciaran Russell eventually seeing them take control of the contest.
Defender Dean Ryan says while they knew they hadn’t played their best in the opening half, they knew there was plenty scope for improvement to turn the game around.
