Avenue United manager David Russell admits the club are eager to end a wait of almost a decade without domestic silverware.
An opportunity to end that drought comes tomorrow evening when they face holders Newmarket Celtic in this year’s final.
The Ennis outfit are also pushing hard for league honours, and will meet Newmarket in a winner takes all tie next week.
