A former Clare senior hurling captain believes inter county sides will still need a significant ‘run in’ period before the National Leagues begin.
Group training has now been suspended until at least January 31st, with both club and county team gyms also remaining closed.

County teams had been due to have a six week training period before the leagues begin on February 27th.
Tommy Guilfoyle believes management teams will have to keep a keen eye on the fitness of their players over the next few weeks.
