Munster say they’re taking the Rainbow Cup competition very seriously ahead of their opening round game against Leinster this weekend.

Johaan Van Graan’s men take on Leo Cullen’s side in the first game of the series at the RDS on Saturday night, with Munster looking for their first win in seven encounters against their provincial rivals.

It comes as the PRO14 organisers have confirmed the competition will operate on a dual tournament basis, with Irish sides competing in a ‘Northern’ version of the competition.
