Rodgers Impressed With Young Scariff-Ogonnelloe Talent

In the Clare Senior Camogie Championship, on Saturday, defending champions Scariff-Ogonnelloe produced a strong performance as they opened their campaign with a 2-21 to 1-6 win over Sixmilebridge.

Forward Marion Rodgers scored 2-4 of their total, but was quick to praise her team-mates afterwards


Also this weekend, there were wins for Newmarket on Fergus over St. Joseph’s, Inagh-Kilnamona over Truagh-Clonlara, and Kilmaley over Kilkishen/Bodyke.

In the Intermediate Camogie Championship, the winners were Whitegate, Feakle/Killanena and Clarecastle/Ballyea.
