Reidy Grateful For Support Since All Ireland Hurling Quarter Final Injury

Clare and Éire Og star David Reidy says he’s extremely grateful for the amount of well wishes he’s received since his injury sustained in the All Ireland hurling quarter final.

He was stretchered off the pitch in Semple Stadium following a head high challenge that resulted in a straight red card for Dublin’s Brendan Kenny

He returned to action in the closing stages of the Banners loss to Limerick and will once again lead Éire Og as they begin the defence of their TUS Clare senior hurling title this weekend

Reidy says while it was a shock, he came out the better of it, but he believes the cost of some tackles in the modern game is too high.
