100 competitors from eight different countries and 20 teams will take part in this year's Rás na mBan, which gets underway in Clare this evening.

Cyclists will travel over 400 kilometres of the county's toughest roads in 6 stages between now and Sunday.
This evening's first stage is a 61 kilometre test which starts in Dromoland and finishes in Ennis, after travelling via Quin, Tulla, Maghera, Crusheen and Barefield.
