Clare competitors secured a host of medals at this weekend’s Community Games National Finals in Athlone.
151 Clare athletes were in action, and medals were secured in a host of sports including hurling, camogie, athletics.

Particularly impressive was the performance of Clare’s youngsters in the marathon event.
Caoimhe Harvey of Carrigaholt/Cross won the girl’s event, while Sean Collins from Ennis St. John’s took the boys’ crown. The Clare teams in both races also secured national crowns for the county.
