The second round of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship gets underway this afternoon with four games down for decision.
First up is the winners round meeting of Newmarket and Clooney Quin, where the victors will be the first to book their spot in the quarter finals.
Clooney/Quin boss Ger O'Halloran says while senior status is guaranteed at this point, he's hopeful his side can continue to drive on.
That one gets underway in Shannon at 2.30pm.
At 4.30pm, Clonlara and O'Callaghans Mills face off for the fourth year in a row, with whoever comes out on top also going forward to the last 8.

There's a double header of action in Clarecastle this evening, where championship survival is on the line when Eire Óg take on Tubber.
Both sides lost their opening rounds, and a loss this evening would see them drop out of the race for the Canon.

The final game this evening sees a repeat of the 2011 Final as Sixmilebridge look to exact revenge on Crusheen for that defeat.
The Bridge last claimed the Canon in 2013, while John Carmodys side were beaten finalists last year.
