Quarter Final Places Up For Grabs In Clare SFC

Lissycasey can all but seal their place in the quarter-finals of the Clare senior football championship this weekend.

John Ryan’s side take on St Joseph’s Doora Barefield for the second year running, with Lissycasey coming out on top when they met at the last eight stage 12 months ago.

St Joseph’s need the win to keep their hopes of progressing alive, with the Parish narrowly losing out to Cratloe on the opening day.

Lissycasey have two points on the board after their opening round win over Kilmihil.

Doonbeg and Clondegad clash this weekend in a game that could prove decisive in the final standings for Group Three of the Clare senior football championship.

Clondegad come into the game off the back of an opening round win over Ennistymon, which leaves the Ballynacally men on the cusp of the quarter-finals.

Doonbeg lost out in a spirited performance against Kilmurry Ibrickane, but know nothing other than a win will keep their championship ambitions alive.
