Cooraclare are through to Mondays Senior Football Championship quarter final against Doonbeg after a three point win over Clondegad last night.
The sky blues led 0-07 to 0-02 at half time in Kilmihil, Clondegad fought back closing the gap to two points mid way through the second half, however three more points from John Looney in the final quarter, bringing his own tally to six on the night, saw Michael Garry’s side run out winners on a final score of 0-11 points to 0-08.
Cooraclare now meet Doonbeg in that last eight tie in Kilmihil on Monday at 2 o’clock.
