Purcell Pleased With Newmarket’s Positive Start To New CDSL Season

Newmarket Celtic will be hoping to continue their winning start to the new season as they travel to take on Shannon Town on Saturday evening.

Celtic got their effort to regain their title off a positive beginning with a David McCarthy hat-trick helping them to a 7-1 win over Coole FC.

They make the short journey to Lynch Park for next weekend’s second round game, with the home side having lost their opening tie against Tulla.
