A former Clare Captain says Wolfe Tones can take alot from their win over Kilmoyley in the Munster Club Intermediate Hurling Quarter-Final.
The Shannon side had a comprehensive victory over the Kerry Senior Champions nearly two weeks ago in Sixmilebridge, winning by double scores, 4-12 to 2-6.
The Tones now face Limerick champions Bruree in the semi final this Sunday.
The Limerick men have been strong contenders in a competitive intermediate championship for the last number of years.
Tommy Guilfoyle reckons they are one of the strongest teams in the last four and shouldn't be taken for granted.
Guilfoyle says despite a one sided game against Kilmoyley, the Shannon men will have learned a great deal ahead of the Bruree game.
