Clare’s man of the match from their Munster Hurling championship win over Waterford feels the atmosphere created by the home support drove them to victory.

The Banner’s first home provincial championship game since 1998 ended in a 9 point win over the Deise which puts Clare back in contention for a Munster final spot.

Clonlara’s John Conlon was central to the victory as he was taken down for a penalty which was dispatched by Peter Duggan before finding the back of the net himself just minutes later.
