The Cratloe man fulfilled a dual mandate for the Banner this year, winning a football and hurling league title in the process while he was also central in Clare's run to the All Ireland hurling and football quarter finals.
He says the role is no longer a sustainable one, but didn't reveal which one he will continue with next year.
