Kerry jockey Brian Cooper has won the Jewson Novices Chase on board 20 to 1 shot Benefficient  in the opening race on day three of Cheltenham Festival.

Favourite Dynaste was second at 11 to 8 while Changhing Times was thiord at 100 to 1.

The second race of the afternoon, the Pertemps Hurdle was won by " Holywell" from the Johnjo O’Neill stable.
