There will be plenty Clare interest in today’s Munster Club action.
Ballygunner take on Thurles Sarsfields in the Munster Hurling Quarter Final in Walsh Park with the winners hosting Sixmilebridge in the provincial semi final next weekend.
Meanwhile All Ireland champions Dr Crokes travel to take on Clonmel Commercials in the Munster Club Football Quarter Final with the winners there hosting whoever claims the Clare title today.
That game is set for two weeks time.
Elsewhere it’s been confirmed Naomh Eoin will take on Dromid Pearses of Kerry next weekend in the Munster Club Quarter Final.
As the last junior club left in the Clare championship, Naomh Eoin go forward to the provincial series regardless of today’s result and will have home advantage at Pairc Eoin in Cross.
Meanwhile Kilmaley will take on An Rinn of Waterford next Sunday afternoon in Cusack Park in the Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Semi Final with the game set for a 2pm throw in.
