Clare native Derek O’Connor has two rides on Day One of the 2017 Galway Races.
He rides Wonder Laish in the feature race at 7.40pm and will be aboard Analytical Mindset in the closing race of the day at 8.40 in Ballybrit.
There’s plenty Clare interest in the feature, with Kilmaley native Brian McMahon training Powersbomb in that one.
