The county boards of Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford are to be asked to seek an emergency meeting with Munster Council about their decision to re-introduce seeding to the Munster Football Championship.

Players’ representatives from the four counties met in Tipperary last night, and The Irish Examiner reports today that they unanimously decided to seek a reversal in the Council’s decision.
The GPA has also been offering assistance on the matter.
