Players from the four unseeded Munster football teams are reportedly meeting tonight to formulate a response to the decision by the Munster Council to once again seed Kerry and Cork in the provincial championship.
After five years of an open draw, next year the two counties will be placed straight into the semi-finals, with the rest battling it out in quarter finals.
According to the Irish Independent, the players will meet at a venue in Tipperary to decide how to respond.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Munster Council says his decision to back the seeded draw is irrelevant.
O’Callaghans Mills man Robert Frost says his own decision to back the change isn’t significant, because his vote in the 6-3 result didn’t make any difference.
