The most successful Irish Paralympic team in the last 25 years, will arrive home this evening, to a hero’s welcome.

Ireland finished 18th in the medals table at the London Paralympic Games – securing eight gold medals, three silverand five bronze.
At last night’s closing ceremony, double gold medal winner Michael McKillop received a special award from the International Paralympic Committee – for demonstrating the best spirit of the Paralympic Games.
Spokesperson for the Irish Paralympic Team John Fullham says all 49 Irish athletes will arrive in Dublin Airport at around 8 o’clock this evening – and all are welcome to attend.
