O’Sullivan in line for 1993 World Gold after Chinese doping revelations

Sonia O'Sullivan could be in line to collect a gold medal from the World championships in 1993

 That's after the Chinese athlete who beat her in the fifteen hundred metres revealed the depth and level of the doping regime they were part of at the time.

The revelations came out in a letter, signed by nine teammates revealing their anguish to a journalist but it remained unpublished for 19 years.

O'Sullivan could be in line for two gold's as she came fourth in the three thousand metres at those World championships finishing behind 3 Chinese runners who were all part of coach Ma Junrens group.

The athletes allege Junren forced them to dope despite their protestations.
