Michael O’Regan of Ruan will be elected as the new chairman of Clare camogie tonight.

O’Regan is the only nominee for the position ahead of this evening’s AGM, at the Auburn Lodge at 7:00, which marks the end of a four year reign for Orla Considine.
The highlight of her reign has come in recent months, with the official opening of Fr. McNamara Park in Doora, a dedicated home for camogie in Clare.
However, she believes more work will still be required, and feels change at the top of the sport will help that occur.
