Michael O’Regan is to become the next chairman of Clare Camogie
The Ruan man is the only nominee for the role, ahead of next week’s AGM.
Michael O’Regan has been nominated by the camogie executive to take the role vacated by Orla Considine, whose five year term is coming to an end.
He’s the only person put forward for the position, which will be filled on Monday night.
The other main positions within the Camogie Board look set to remain as they are – Joe Robbins of Sixmilebridge will retain his position of vice char, with Marie-Lousie Kaiser staying on as Secretary.
Bríd McNamara of Ruan will stay on as PRO while treasurer Michael Maher looks set to have a second assistant, in the form of Catherine O’Loughlin of Inagh Kilnamona, who’ll take the role along with Michelle McMahon of Eire Og.
Monday’s AGM at the Auburn Lodge Hotel gets underway at 7:00.
