Jeff Hendrick and Wes Hoolahan were among those that impressed the manager in  yesterdays 1-all draw with Sweden in Paris.

Next up is a clash with Belgium in Bordeaux this Saturday- the Belgians need a result from that game after losing 2-0 to Italy last night.

Ireland took the lead in their game yesterday but the Swedes equalised through an own goal.

Full back Seamus Coleman was asked about Ireland's habit of sitting back after scoring.

There are two games today.

At 5 o'clock in group F Austria who are tenth in the Word rankings play Hungary while at 8 it's Portugal against first time qualifiers Iceland.
