Meanwhile, it’s being reported that the F.A.I are still unsure whether or not to host a home November friendly as the search for a new boss continues.

According to the Irish Independent Ray Houghton and Rudd Dokter who are heading up the search will meet the F.A.I on Friday to recommend candidates, but that’s also the deadline that clubs must be informed by national teams if their players are required.

The association are said to be worried that hosting the proposed friendly against Slovenia at the Aviva may be costly if a new manager is not place.
