Munster have reportedly identified the man they hope to appoint as their next head coach.

South African David Wessels is believed to be in the running for the job, with the Daily Telegraph in Australia saying Munster have offered to fly him to Ireland next week to agree a deal.

Wessels is just 35 year old and was most recently the head coach of Western Force in his native country.

He also previously served as assistant to Rassie Erasmus with the Stormers.

Meanwhile the Reds make just one change to their side for tomorrow’s PRO14 trip to Ospreys.

Tyler Bleyendaal comes back into the number 10 jersey while he will also captain the side as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the new season.

James Cronin is also included among the replacements and could make his first appearance of the season having successfully recovered from a knee injury.
