Sixmilebridge boss John O’Meara feels they are well placed to make a strong bid for provincial honours because of the strength of the Clare championship.
The Bridge claimed their third county title in the last five years with victory over Clooney/Quin a fortnight ago and now take on Waterford champions Ballygunner in Sunday’s Munster Semi Final.
Since 2007, five Clare teams have reached the provincial decider with Tulla, Cratloe, Crusheen and Ballyea all featuring while Sixmilebridge are bidding to contest a second final since 2013.
