Further discussions are to be held between Mick O’Dwyer and representatives of the Clare County Board in the coming days, as the Kerry legend prepares to take charge of the Clare seniors.
O’Dwyer has accepted the role, and is all but certain to be ratified at next week’s meeting of the county board.
Discussions have now turned to O’Dwyer’s back room team, with Michael Cahill to stay on as fitness trainer and Ger Keane of Kilkee likely to be among the selectors.
