Clare senior football manager Mick O’Dwyer says he’s targeting a win, as well as a strong performance, in his first competitive outing in the role.
O’Dwyer leads the Banner into Sunday’s McGrath Cup clash with Limerick I.T., and has promised to use the game as a further chance to experiment and to take a look at players who’ve been training with his panel in recent weeks.
Following a number of retirements from the county panel, Clare fans have been told to expect a much-changed side when the Banner begin their National League campaign against Waterford in four weeks time.
The Kerryman says he’s building his side towards that game, and is hoping for a strong result and performance as they build towards it.
