County football star Cian O’Dea will play hurling with Eire Og in 2022.
The Kilfenora native had been hurling for Corofin as an isolated player, and will continue to play football for his home club.

O’Dea is employed by Eire Og as a coaching officer, and last night’s meeting of the county board was informed that his transfer request had been granted after an appeal.
Meanwhile the draws for this year’s club championships are due to be held on Monday evening next at Clare GAA headquarters in Clareabbey.
