O’Dea Calls For Stronger Leadership On Dual Players Issue

One of Clare’s dual sports stars is renewing calls for strong leadership from the ladies sports organisations in addressing the repeated fixtures clashes.

Kilfenora native Niamh O’Dea was one of the players who had to choose between Ladies Football and Camogie earlier this year when Clare games in both codes were scheduled for the same time.

She’s speaking after a motion brought before the Ladies Gaelic Football Association congress last weekend aimed at solving the issue was defeated.
