O’Connor says they struggled playing into the wind at times in the second half.

Elsewhere, 2024 Champions Feakle sit atop Group 3 after their opening round victory on Saturday evening.

Ger Conway’s side claimed the bragging rights in an East-Clare derby, defeating O’Callaghan’s Mills 0-28 to 0-18.

Man of the Match Shane McGrath says they’re pleased to start off on the right foot against one of the form teams in the county.
