Tubber's Derek O'Connor has created history by becoming the first jockey to ever ride 1000 point to point winners.

He did it by guiding the Pat Doyle-trained Death Duty to victory in the opening four-year-old maiden at Cragmore in County Limerick yesterday afternoon, and then went on to complete a treble on the day.
