O’Connor On Double Duty This St. Stephen’s Day

Tubber jockey Derek O’Connor is in action in two of today’s St. Stephen’s Day race meetings.

The Tubber jockey will be in action in the Toals Bookmakers Hunters Chase at Down Royal at 1:00, when he’ll be aboard the fancied Stand Up And Fight.

He’ll then travel to Leopardstown for the 3:30 Tote Supporting Irish INH Flat Race, where his mount is Sempo, from the yard of Joseph O’Brien.

Today is the first of four days racing at Leopardstown, where the feature race of the afternoon is the Grade 1 Racing Post Novices chase at 2:20.

In Limerick, they’re underway from 12:20 and Ruby Walsh will ride there on St Stephens day for the first time in his professional career,

He has three rides including on Getabird in the inaugural running of the Matchbook Novices Chase as a Grade One

In the UK the feature race of the day is the King George Chase at Kempton at 3:05 .
