Clare’s senior hurlers will be aiming for a strong start as well as a good finish when they face Limerick in Cusack Park on Sunday.
Their joint manager highlighted the opening spell last Sunday where Wexford held an early lead before they built an impressive advantage.
While the Banner held on to beat Wexford, they’re not expecting the same luxury against the All-Ireland champions in a must-win tie.
