Clare joint hurling boss Gerry O’Connor feels the squad are in a positive frame of mind ahead of the start of the new season.
Tipperary are the visitors to Cusack Park on Sunday for the first of five games for the Banner in Division 1A, with only one more of those games coming at the Ennis venue.
The team will be named later this evening with Peter Duggan and Jason McCarthy among those available for selection after overcoming injuries.
