O’Connell Signs New Deal with IRFU

The 34 year old former Lions skipper has represented his country 88 times, with 154 appearances for Munster.

O’Connell played his part in the Reds 38-6 Heineken cup win over Edinburgh yesterday and they’ll host Toulouse in the quarter finals on the first weekend of April.

In a negative out of that result, Winger Keith Earls is due have a scan on a knee injury that forced him off the field of play in yesterdays victory.
