O’Callaghans Mills Looking Forward To Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Semi Final

O’Callaghans Mills will find out later this evening if they are to have home advantage, or a road trip, for their Munster club intermediate hurling semi final.

Sean Doyle’s men will take on Waterford champions Tallow in a fortnights time with a coin toss to take place this evening to determine the venue for the game.

The East Clare side saw off a strong challenge from Kerry’s Abbeydorney to book their last four spot, with Jacob Loughnane’s second half goal proving a defining score in a 1-19 to 1-17 win.

Doyle felt his side took time to settle into the game but were deserving winners in the end.

Elsewhere this weekend, the Banner saw their season come to an end after a one point loss to Waterford’s Kilrossanty in their quarter final tie.
