Sean O’Brien says he’s honoured to be starting for the Lions in Saturday’s final test against Australia. The Leinster and Ireland flanker will start at open side in place of injured captain Sam Warburton. O’Brien joins Jonathan Sexton and Tommy Bowe as the three Irish players in the starting side. However, this morning’s team announcement by head coach Warren Gatland was dominated by the decision to drop Brian O’Driscoll from the team and the squad. Jamie Heaslip is also out of the squad.
